Bethanie

So I visited the emergency room Christmas Day Eve......and man did that affect my Bethanie.

My folks watched the girls for me while I went. When I got back, Bethanie was still crying. After comforting her we headed home.

The next day I called to talk to my mother and she made me aware of what had happened while I was gone. She continued to tell me that Bethanie was so worried that I wasn't coming home.....she keep telling my mom:"I need my mom....she is so important to me.  Grandma I need my mom!" She continued to tell her I was fine and that I would be home soon.

That day I realized the she has been through soooo much and too much for an eight year old little girl. I feel so bad for putting her through this, but I did it for her. To show her the correct way for a man to treat her. I hope someday she will understand.

Baby girl at Thanksgiving

To me this was Bentlee's real first Thanksgiving and man did she have the house cracking up.  The Girls were with PJ this year down in Cedar City with his new wife's family so we headed to my parents for the big feast.  The table we used was one that my Grandma Beth had in her home for big dinners and Holidays.  We all were able to sit at it and Bentlee was in her high chair behind and kind of next to me.  We had just served up dinner and we were all eating and all of a sudden someone started to laugh and say look at Bentlee.  We all turned to look and Bentlee had decided she was done with dinner and wanted dessert.  Her high chair was next to the round table full of desserts and she had her hand in the chocolate banana cream pie just eating away.  Her hands and face were covered in whip cream and she was so enjoying it!!  I tried to take a picture, but that girl is not one for the camera.

So we ate and cleaned up, rested and watched football, and played a little spoons.  After spoons the girls decided to put Bentlee on the table and started singing that Gungman Style song and man did that girl do some dancing.  She has this move where she bends her right knee in and out and it is the cutest damn thing you ever did see.  They keep singing and we keep on laughing.

I am sooooo grateful for this precious little person. She brings out the best in me and I am not sure where I would be today if I didn't have her.  I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for letting me have her and for allowing be to be her mother.  I love Bentlee!



OMH.....

So here we are playing Just Dance 4 and Bethanie says to Brooklyn about a song...."Thats just boss!" OMH where do they get this.......the terminology these days are wacked!!!

It had to be Bentlee .....

All these years of having children, I've been able to say that my children have never played with poppy diapers ......until today. Good job baby girl way to do it.

Bethanie

 

Bethanie turned 8 this year....wow where has 8 years gone.  She is soo grown up, well at least she thinks that she has!  What a beautiful child, young lady.  I love you Bethanie, you are and will always be my little princess.

Bentlee

She is getting so big!

Bentlee is the only one....

That girl can eat a whole jar of baby food and still take an 8oz. bottle! What a little oinker she is.....

Today is Brooklyn's fourth birthday!!!! Where has the time gone?? She has gotten so big. I just love her so much!

Do u ever wonder what happened to the family unit??? Today I it hit me hard that my family has changed. We use to be soooo close growing up......I guess things do change.
